Hey Reader, Welcome to Friday - we made it! In what is becoming a regular feature, in the last week I hit a big income milestone and I wanted to break it down for you so that you can see the volume that is needed when creating stuff people want to buy. I started this business with the thought that I would do done for you services if the project was exciting, and that is exactly how it has run to now. I rarely speak about this as I am almost always fully booked, but I set up leads tracking and sales CRM systems in Airtable (my Dream Dashboard service) for service based businesses who started on spreadsheets but can't cope anymore. So, in month one when I booked £30k of business off the bat - this was why. As I have moved through the year, I started to add in more and more mentoring and conuslting, from group options to one to one and I LOVE the mix I have. It is so dreamy! But I wouldn't be me if I didn't walk the talk I talk, so using my own dream dashboard I thought I'd share the breakdown of where the income has come from to hit my firs £100k. (Let's not get swirly about making money babes, it's literally why we are in business, and it is IMPERATIVE that you know this is TURNOVER and not PROFIT). All of this data is from July 2023 until today, 12th April 2024. Clients: 125 Average Spend: £830 Average Products Purchased: 3 Split of income: Systems Consulting - 24% Membership - 13% In Person Day - 9% Retreat - 6% Email Challenge - 1% Average amount of time from joining my email list to making a purchase: 93 days Email list size today: 501 Email list growth: 78% Total emails sent since July 23: 22,769 Average email open rate: 53% Average click through rate: 6% Average unsubscribe rate: 33% I've created this dashboard from pulling in my Stripe data and Convertkit data into one table - it is so handy knowing this whenever I need it. What else would you like to know? I'm an open book! Membership waitlist starts next week...big changes are afoot! Speak soon Zx |

Hey Reader, The wonderful thing about running an online service business is that there aren't really any rules. There are things that some people might say you can't do, like run a group programme for 4 people (I did this in 2020), or have a podcast that is private (helloooo 10ish) but usually they are saying that because they are parroting what someone else "higher up" than them has told them to do. I like being experimental and trying new things so that I can confidently say to my clients...
Hey Reader, Are you asking regularly for feedback? I know it can call to our very worst fears, wanting to know what people think. But in reality - it's going to enhance everything you do. I have rarely been asked for feedback in any of the things I have taken part in. Which is a shame as I think often it would have helped the course creator make things better. Example... For my experimental 100 reps from September to December 2023 I put together a coworking calendar which held space for 100...
Hey Reader, Remember four years ago when we hadn’t heard of C***d-19, pandemics were things that happened in video games and no one knew that you could sing happy birthday when washing your hands? 2020 took it’s toll on everyone, and as a result I declared that in 2021 my word of the year would be selfish. I started saying no to the things that I felt obliged to do, I declined voice notes and DMs, I explained I didn’t like hugs and also left gatherings when I wanted to without feeling guilty....
