Dreamy in 10 - How to stop refreshing Stripe like you're waiting for a lost parcel

And something I used to hate? Feeling like I had to manually babysit my payments.

I’d check Stripe like I was refreshing a tracking number for a package that should have arrived days ago, knowing full well I couldn’t do anything about it. If a payment failed, I wouldn’t even notice until I happened to stumble across it. And let’s be honest, chasing invoices is not the vibe.

So I built myself an automatic nudge. You can watch it by clicking on the photo below.

Now, instead of playing detective, I get a Slack message when a payment actually needs checking.

No random Stripe logins.

No “just in case” admin tasks.

Just a simple notification that tells me exactly what I need to look at, right when I need to look at it.

It doesn’t remind me about every payment, just the ones that might be overdue. Because I don’t need another to-do list. I need my cash flow to stay on track without me having to think about it.
