Can I tell you something I’ve been sitting on for a while? I want to start a sweatshirt business. Not “I’ve looked into it a bit.” I mean I have an actual list of ideas for fun, punny, printed sweatshirts and I am doing nothing with it because one half of my brain is screaming “JUST START” and the other half is going “Zoë, concentrate on the business you already have.” So for now, the list lives in a my notes app, haunting me. (Would you like to see some of them? Maybe that's my IG post today 🤣) Anyway. This got me thinking about you, and the thing you want to start, or do, or try, but haven’t yet. So I want to know: if money, time, and the general chaos of life weren’t a factor, what would you do? Could be a business, could be a creative project, or something completely daft that you’ve never said out loud to anyone. Just hit reply and tell me. And while I have you, I’m building something new and I want you to get your hands on it first. It’s a free personalised 30-day Sales Action Plan. You answer a few questions about your business, and I’ll show you exactly where to focus and what to actually do over the next 30 days to create more sales opportunities from what you already have. No starting from scratch. No guessing. Just a clear picture of what’s already there and how to use it. It’s not ready yet, but when it is, I want to send it straight to the people who want it. If that’s you, just reply with “sweatshirts” (feels fitting) and I’ll make sure you’re first in line. Till next week Zx P.S. I’m so nosy about your answer to the “what would you start?” question. No judgement. Mine is printed sweatshirts with terrible puns on them, so the bar is on the floor. |
I'm Zoë. I run Falling Forwards Ltd. I write Booked By Friday, a weekly email that lands every Sunday with one specific action you can take that week to land a paid booking by Friday from people already in your world. Past clients, lapsed buyers, the lead who said "not yet" three months ago. If you sell services and your calendar's lighter than you'd like, that's the inbox you want to be in.
About a month ago I was scrolling our local Facebook group and someone posted a screenshot of a map, and on that map it said CUDDING SHED TAP ROOM. On the road I live on. Excuse me??? There’s a tap room half a mile from my house and NOBODY THOUGHT TO TELL ME. Obviously we went. Turns out my dad knows the bloke who owns the farm, because of course he does, and the tap room is literally in one of the barns. They make cider on site, they do BBQ food, it opened less than a year ago and every...
I nearly told someone to build a new offer this week. Like, was halfway through typing the sentence and everything. “You need something in the middle.” And then I looked at it and thought… do you though? Because her offers did have one of those gaps that makes my business-coach brain start getting ideas. Something cheap at one end, something expensive at the other and absolutely sod all in between. You KNOW the one. It looks unfinished. Almost offensively so. Like obviously we need to pop a...
I speak too fast and I'm neurodivergent. "The thing you've been editing out is probably the thing the right people are waiting for." I started putting a slide at the beginning of my presentations that says exactly that. I speak too fast. I'm neurodivergent, for me that's ADHD and autism, which means I struggle to look at the camera, I need to read my notes, and once I get going I'm not stopping so try and keep up. If any of that's a problem, watch me on replay, I really won't be offended. I...
